06 – 08 September 2017 – Traveled to Iceland
I arrived in Edinburgh on 4th September 2017, then i take my British Residence Permit on the same day. Two days later, 06 Sept, I go to Iceland by WOW Air, considered low cost airline. The flight took around 4 hours from Edinburgh to Keflavik Airport.
- I take Grayline tour (book online available) for the bus transport from Airport to Reyjavik (City Center) because I stayed at Hlemmur Square hostel (12 bed inside room)
- 30 minutes after hostel check in, I went out to Blue Lagoon by Grayline tour (Blue Lagoon Package), It took around 1 hour to go there.
- I amazed with Blue Lagoon and plants surrounding, combination between blue and green and it is so wide area. I take a lot of pictures there and met many people from different nationalities. Not on only the lagoon, the place also provide the place to stay there, but it must be really expensive
- I go back to hostel around 12 and then sleep
- In the second day morning, I go to Glacier hike, again managed by Grayline tour (Seoulmajokul Glacier hike and south cost package). This is really a full day tour, i feel really satisfied.
- Then, after glacier, around 9, I went night out to see aurora. Luckily the aurora was shown during that day.
- I flew back to Edinburgh on 8 September 2017 morning.
