Between the mid 2022 to mid 2023, Irka was mandated to be the Executive Assistant of Vice Minister 1 Ministry of State Owned Enterprise. Right after the assignment, he continue his career in Pertamina Hulu Energi as Investor Relations.
Graduated from Bachelor, Irka work as Management Associates at Citibank N.A. and then moves Chevron in 2014, both are multinational companies headquartered in the United States. In 2016, Irka moved to Chevron Corporate Audit team to enable his growth, widening knowledge of the business process of company operations. His findings and recommendations from audit contribute to company values for more effective process and prevent miscalculations for transactions under contract with suppliers.
After 3 years working experience, Irka decided to enhance his intellectual capability by taking MSc in Accounting and Finance in The University of Edinburgh Business School started in September 2017. After Graduated from MSc in Accounting and Finance in 2018, Irka continue his career in Chevron as Audit Coordination who liaise audit from Government of Indonesia. His task improves Chevron financial compliance to applicable policies and regulation. Any room of improvement indicated will be addressed by him to find the best resolution between Chevron and Government.
Irka attended Gadjah Mada University International Undergraduate Program and graduated with Cum Laude honour in Accounting (3 years 4 months). During his study in UGM, he was actively involved in campus events and organisations. He was the chairman of Gadjah Mada Accounting Days and assistant manager in Accounting Student Association (2010-2011). Besides that, Irka represented Gadjah Mada University in Harvard Model United Nation in Singapore (2011). He received award of 1 year scholarships for exchange program in Tohoku University, Japan (2011-2012). During his study in Japan, Irka worked for Tohoku Global Project and actively participated in Indonesian Student Organisation. Irka also attended International Trade Symposium held by Japanese Trade Ministry.
After completed exchange program, Irka was appointed by Professor Mudrajad to work for him on paper submitted in international conference and wrote a book for Pohuwato region. In 2013, Irka selected and fully sponsored by Faculty of Economics and Business UGM in APEX Business IT Challenge in Singapore. Slight after, Irka was sponsored by CIMB to join Airbus Business Competition and selected as 100 world finalist. Then, Irka worked for small wood enterprise to build website and made effective cost estimation. Furthermore, Irka also actively involved in social community service as a coordinator. Irka is the co-founder and initiator of Countries Development Action. Seen from his career path, Irka was appointed to be the guest speaker for stadium general in Faculty of Economic and Business UGM to share his strategy to get the achievements. Then, Irka was also invited by XL future leaders to be the moderator for community leaders summit (2014). Soon after, Irka joined P2EB (Penelitian dan Pelatihan Ekonomika dan Bisnis) to serve the training held by PT Pegadaian (Persero) for managers level.
